Can someone clarify so I can understand, please? Hi; I ordered a Haynes 900 '94-'98 from the Book Depository (one of the suppliers when searching on Amazon) a month ago or so. It was cheap, arrived quickly, and was a new hardback. And it came from the UK. However, the manual explicity says it does not deal with the V6 engine (which is what you have) nor with the automatic transmission (don't know about your transmission). From my public library, I borrowed Chilton's Import Car Repair Manual 1995-1999. It does have information on Saabs, and the V6 engine too.

I don't think it's nearly as thorough as Haynes, but if your library has these books you could borrow it and read through. At least there's quite a lot of information on general maintenance, schedules, etc. Also, you want to hunt around for an owner's manual to your car, if you don't have one. Junkyards and ex-Saab owners, along with the usual on-line flea markets would be the place to look. There's a lot of interesting information in that Owner's Guide!
