2017 Sportsman 500 Owner Manual
Good wheeler for the price. I own a 2017. The only design flaw that I have seen is battery location. It would make sense to have the battery higher up off of the bottom of the wheeler. Also the engine braking is a little strong. If you let off the throttle it slows down a bit fast, but once used t. O it, it's no big issue.
Other than that I have enjoyed this machine. Climbs well, crawls well, and if your looking for a little sport in your quad without requiring a big bore engine, this would be a great choice. Plenty of power! It will wheelie if your romping on it. Great fuel economy too. I added the Polaris winch with synthetic rope, which has paid for itself, and heated grips. I am happy with my purchase.
